    The Wahkiakum Mules boys basketball team ended their season with two tough losses last week. One more win might have afforded the team a trip to district, but it remained out of reach. On Wednesday, the team traveled to Toledo. The Mules stayed close in the first quarter 17-22, but the Indians outscored the boys by 17 points in the second quarter and continued to stretch the lead throughout the game.     Class 1B district begins with a bye for the Naselle Comettes. They were scheduled to play the Washington School for the Deaf on Saturday, but their opponents have opted not to continue into the post season.
