CALL FOR BIDS WAHKIAKUM COUNTY EDEN VALLEY PAVING PROJECT ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $110,000 TO $125,000 Sealed proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Wahkiakum County Public Works Office, 68 Main Street Suite 2, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612, up to 9:45 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to accomplish the Eden Valley Paving Project as described in the construction plans included with the Bid Documents. This Project includes the following: application of tack coat, pavement brushing, commercial hot mix asphalt installation, and asphalt nuclear density testing. The work shall include but is not limited to: application of tack coat, commercial hot mix asphalt pavement construction, and pavement brushing. Work primarily consists of the overlaying of a portion of the Eden Valley Road asphalt surface beginning at milepost 1.910 and ending at milepost 2.180 with a commercial hot mix asphalt layer measuring 0.2 feet in depth. A complete job is required that complies with all state and federal permitting requirements. The work shall be substantially completed by Friday, May 30th, 2025. All bidding and construction are to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the County Public Works Department, Cathlamet, Washington. All employees performing work must be paid at least prevailing wage rates per classification as specified by WDOL&I.
