Notice of Availability & Public Comment for the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments Public Participation Plan Kelso, WA — The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments (CWCOG) invites the public to review and provide comments on the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments Public Participation plan. Comments may be made in writing or by phone (see contact information later in this notice). The Public Participation Plan identifies policies and guides how the CWCOG conducts public outreach and input. It outlines processes like the federal and state laws that the CWCOG complies with, length of public comment periods for planning documents, and methods of public outreach. The CWCOG Board of Directors is scheduled to consider adoption of the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments Public Participation Plan during their regular meeting on May 22, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments is a multi-purpose association of governments that delivers a diverse array of federal, state, and local programs while fulfilling its primary function as a regional planning organization. Beginning March 20th, 2025 the document will be available online at http://www.cwcog.org or by calling the CWCOG office at (360) 577-3041 to arrange for document pick up.
