Wahkiakum hosted the Down River Challenge wrestling tournament last weekend with 17 schools and over 160 wrestlers. Luke Stacey, wrestling at 132 pounds, was the first to take home a championship. He pinned his opponent in the championship round to take 1st place in the tournament. Alex Johnson also won his way into the championship round at 145 pounds, to face the same wrestler he lost to last year in this event.
