    This past week, a group of dedicated volunteers, including myself, came together to revitalize the woods behind the Wahkiakum County Museum, located at 65 River Street and run by the Wahkiakum County Historical Society. Though our numbers were small, our impact was significant. We removed garbage that had accumulated over time, widened the trails to make them more accessible, identified a variety of native plant species, and pruned back trees to let in more light.
