    Clatskanie’s varsity baseball team will begin its 2025 season on the road Monday, March 17 against Rainier. Following last season’s 20-win showing and playoff appearance, the boys are returning several starters this year, according to Coach Ryan Tomkins.     Despite a #2 seeding entering tournament play, the Clatskanie High School girls basketball team's season concluded last Saturday against Halsey's Central Linn High School. Being outscored 21-13 in the first quarter, Clatskanie went into halftime down 39-22.
