We are pleased to announce that we have hired a new coordinator for the Community Center. Her name is Kelly Shumar and she and her family have recently moved to Grays River. Our Free Friday Night Movie this week is “Blade Runner.” It is an adult drama. Movies begin at 7:00 p.m., and free popcorn is provided. We have been busy here at the Community Center these past two weeks. Our schedule is full with regular groups and activities as well as new events. We are all gearing up for the Wahkiakum County Fair starting this Thursday! It looks to be great weather to enjoy all the fun activities. We have a new rolling bookcase so we will be able to display our Free Books outside again. Our Free Family Bingo last Saturday was a lot of fun! We will be planning another event soon. Stop in and pick up an August Calendar for upcoming events and daily activities. Due to this excessive heat we will be experiencing this week, the Community Center will remain open as a Cooling Center until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday. ****EXCITING NEWS**** We are pleased to announce that beginning May 1 the Community Center will remain open until 5:00 pm. on Mondays.
