    Stevenson Bulldogs 7, Mules 6 On April 19, the Mules took the lead in the first inning and maintained it until the bulldogs pulled ahead in the sixth inning, clinching Stevenson a spot in the district tournament and eliminating the Mules in the process. Defense got a great performance out of eighth grader Kennedy Penttila, making three spectacular catches in the outfield that all prevented runs from scoring.     Napvine 8, Mule 6 April 8: Our bats were on fire all day, with everyone getting in the hit column. Unfortunately we left some runners on base, made some base running errors, combined with one or two bad decisions on defense, and it put us in a position where we were down by five runs going into the bottom of the final inning.     April 1, at Toledo: Toledo was definitely our toughest opponent yet. They came out hitting with seven runs in the first inning and never let up. We were held to just two hits, singles from MJ Neves and Amaya Jones in the first inning. Eighth grader Alaya Cripe struck out two batters after she came in to relieve Breyonna Montgomery on the mound. Final score was 15-0.     The Lady Mules softball team hosted Adna on Monday and lost 16-4. Breyonna Montgomery held Adna to one hit through the first three innings and struck out six Adna hitters, but couldn’t keep the Pirate bats at bay forever. Montgomery was 1-2 at the plate with one RBI. Amaya Jones was 2-2 with one run scored and a walk. Beka Neves was 1-2 with an RBI and one run scored.
