    The Wahkiakum Youth Football Mini-Mules avenged their only regular season loss in the first round of their playoffs last Saturday, beating a Longview team 20-6 to secure a spot in their playoff’s championship game.     Much like the tornado earlier in the week, the Wahkiakum Mini-Mules Youth Football tore through Kelso, ripping through the previously undefeated Longview Youth Football (Longshore) team for a 30-6 win. The triumph capped a perfect league season of 6-0 and secured the Mini-Mules’ championship.     The Wahkiakum Mini-Mules extended their league winning streak to five games with a decisive 41-14 win last Saturday over a Kelso youth team. The game started with the Mules scoring on just three plays, capped by an 18 yard run by Brody Carlson, which gave the Mules an early 6-0 lead.     The Wahkiakum Mini-Mules football team achieved another win last Saturday at Kelso High School, beating a Longview team 34-0. The win brought the team's record to 4-0 in league play, with two games remaining. In the first quarter, Brody Carlson scored on a 35-yard counter to the left end to put the Mini-Mules up 6-0.     The Wahkiakum Youth Football team won their home game 20-0 against Kelso's NW Auto team, on Saturday at Wahkiakum High School. In the first half, Gabe Moon scored on a three yard quarterback keeper to the right for a touchdown to go up 6-0. In the third quarter, Jake Leitz scored the Mini-Mules second touchdown with a six yard sweep to the right to put the team up 12-0.
